We continue along the coastal road, which is lined with ultra-modern tourist complexes, and we come to Faliraki.

This is one of the largest tourist settlements of the island, with a marvelous beach, many hotels, shops, sports facilities, etc... About 5 min drive from Faliraki and 15km from Rhodes Town is the famous "Antony Queen Bay" a nice sand and pebble beach surrounded by green hills. It became famous before the movie “the Guns of Navarone” when Anthony Quinn fell in love of the bay and bought lands there. Since those days this place has been called Anthony Quinn Bay.

We turn to the main road, and pass through the village of Afandou. At a distance of 6 Kilometers to the south, is the site called Kolymbia, where the Epta Pighes (Seven Springs) are located.

We continue southwards, we arrive at Archangelos, one of the loveliest traditional villages of the island. In this area, there are workshops and shops selling pottery.

We continue to the south on the main road and after a turn, the impressive rock of Lindos rises up to meet us, with the acropolis on its top and the dazzling white village at its foot.
